Change Menu Wording to English

For my (actually helpful) first post, I'm going to take you step-by-step with pictures on how to put the menus (like stats, system, etc) in English.

The first think you'll need to do is go to My Computer>Your C hard drive>Program Files(x86 if it shows up)

[Note: Click on pictures to enlarge them.]

Open the 980x and Wonderland Online files in separate windows.

Next what you're going to do is copy the menu folder from the Wonderland Online window, and paste it to the NWLOnline (980x) window.

You should get something like this:

Click yes

Whatever pops up, make sure that you click merge or copy and replace.

After clicking continue and the process finishes, open the client and log in.

Notice that the system menu isn't quite fully translated... I'm looking for a solution to that right now.

Well that's pretty much it! I hope everything was self explanatory.. xD Enjoy your partial English Chinese WLO. :D

EDIT:

For those of you who would like the Start Game, Update, Leave, etc. buttons to be in English, follow pictures 1-3 above, then do this:

Open the upimg file in the Wonderland Online Folder

Select and copy all of the pictures.

(If you want the main screen and the screen where it updates to stay the same [one with Chinese lettering] don't copy and paste the Main_Img, 0c.jpg, or 0s.jpg pictures.)

Go to the upimg file in the NWLOnline.

Paste the pictures from the Wonderland Online file here.

Follow through and copy and replace where needed, and allow it to change to pictures.

Voila!<3

First Post!

I am just now starting this blog, and am pretty excited! I believe this is the first of it's kind: a Chinese NWL guide for English players! *insert dancing bunny here* >w<

Aside from all of that, lemme give you a run down of what's to come in the blog:

  • Items translated from Chinese to English with descriptions and item ranks
  • Equips and weapons translated
  • Easy quest quides
  • Other fantastical stuff!

This might take quite a while, so please please please bear with me! I don't know a lick of Chinese, and am using previous knowledge of the English WLO game and a translator. If you know any good ones, please let me know!

I hope you'll join me in creating a mass guide for the English players of the Chinese NWL. (:
